Hambleden Church was in desperate need of rewiring. The current wiring was becoming unreliable and dangerous. The church was also in great need of new lighting to replace old, expensive and inadequate lights that date back many decades, and which give little scope to light the church in a flexible way. Once the church is relit we will need to redecorate, a task not carried out for a long time and involving considerable high-level work.

We have raised £250,000 to cover the combined costs of a modern rewiring, good quality, flexible and long-lasting lighting, and redecorating across the whole church in suitable paint for the building. 
This has been a huge task.
